Sickly Sweet Simone

A/W13 is soon to be here, and I hope to follow the beautiful trend set for us by non other than Simone Rocha (daughter of designer John Rocha.) Her latest collection is so sickly sweet that words like candyfloss and bubblegum spring to mind, and maybe that is why I am so addicted to her line. She has given us pink pink and more pink in cute puffer coats, PVC skirts and fluffy knits that take us all back to being six years old.

       However her collections dating back to 2010 are still so very in fashion now and I want to wear every single item she has ever created all at the same time. I physically cannot get enough. (As can Lady Gaga who often wears her clothing.) The thing I adore most about her as a designer is the fact she uses so many different types of materials and is forever trying to create something that hasn't been done before. However the shapes created in her work are so clean cut and timeless, creating the perfect balance of innovation and past perfection.
