Discovered this woman forever ago but I still absolutely love her music and style! Collared shirts are an absolute must this season, as are dogtooth prints and large hooped ear-rings. It seems Jessie has got it all down to a T perfectly paired with a fierce looking top knot hair style!! Definitely going to dare the Jessie ware look soon 

This Is England '13

Skinheads are back!! One of the new trends for A/W 2013 is 80s androgyny to the max so get your docs on and get ready for this brutal fashion movement. Severe hair cuts are a must have, as are Dr. Marten boots, Levi 501 jeans, Fred Perry polos, Harrington Jackets and Braces. There's no room for nonsense anymore, toughen up girls, you have to be fierce to pull this one off!!

Keeping the Faith

So London fashion week has just passed, and being me I had search through all the celebs and street style pics that sum up the most exciting fashion event in England. Whilst routing through tonnes and tonnes of images, I found that i kept coming back to the same person and thinking "WOW!!". Who is this person? Paloma Faith of course! Every single outfit worn over the week was just perfect, especially her much more vibrant coloured hair. Literally cannot get enough of this woman and her show stopping style. She is just FABULOUS!!

Shake Hands & Make Up

Winter is well and truly here which means a new item has to be added to the make up bag, on principle of course. One trend I am absolutely in love with is the "Romantic Goth" as seen in the A/W catwalk shows by Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci. Pale complexions are so very desirable this fall (lucky for me), as are mushroom colour palette eyes with clumpy mascara creating a come as you are appearance and of course not forgetting the deep and dark burgundy lips that would be dangerous to kiss. Here are a few examples of how to master the look.

So last night all the staff from the COW Nottingham store and myself celebrated a brilliant summer and said a farewell (in advance) to a few members of the amazing team. Sickly Sweet Simone

A/W13 is soon to be here, and I hope to follow the beautiful trend set for us by non other than Simone Rocha (daughter of designer John Rocha.) Her latest collection is so sickly sweet that words like candyfloss and bubblegum spring to mind, and maybe that is why I am so addicted to her line. She has given us pink pink and more pink in cute puffer coats, PVC skirts and fluffy knits that take us all back to being six years old.

       However her collections dating back to 2010 are still so very in fashion now and I want to wear every single item she has ever created all at the same time. I physically cannot get enough. (As can Lady Gaga who often wears her clothing.) The thing I adore most about her as a designer is the fact she uses so many different types of materials and is forever trying to create something that hasn't been done before. However the shapes created in her work are so clean cut and timeless, creating the perfect balance of innovation and past perfection.

       Follow Simone's work and you really cannot go far wrong!!
