How I Wish To Draw
During the Summer I have been looking into fashion illustrators and their styles to help improve my own work for going back to college this September. As a result I have completely fallen in love with Esra Roise, a Norweigan illustrator who explains she is "Inspired by seemingly small unimportant everyday situations, and snapshot photography with their impulsiveness, bad cropping and weird angles. people around me, the fashion industry, music, awkward moments and imperfections." I find her illustrations have real character and show real people as opposed to lifeless models. In other words her illustrations are Cara Delevigne not Kate Moss. (My cruel opinion.) Roise shows all imperfections in her work like gappy teeth and messy hair, and this is what I love about her work.
